Thank the Gods!!! I have an Apartment!!!!

After much waiting I finally have my apartment in London :)! It is in a great new area of town called the docklands. I will post pictures soon, but the apartment and location are great. It is near the water and tube stations, plus there is a ton of shopping and places to go out at nearby Canary Wharf. I have gotten moved in just in times for a visit from Reebs (look for Paris pictures next week!!!)

A laid back artsy weekend in London

I spent this weekend wandering around. I discovered a couple of markets (pics below) and went to the National Portrait Gallery. Saw several very famous paintings (thought it would be cliche to post pictures of pictures), including Monet, Da Vinci, Matisse, among several others.

I stumbled upon this great market last weekend. It reminded me alot of Pikes Place Market in Seattle (without the flying fish) 

The place had a little bit of everything, notice Southwark Cathedral in the background :) 

Kyoko in London

On Tuesday Kyoko came to visit London for a few days. Unfortunately I was slaving at work most of her visit, but I did get to meet her for lunch and show her around a bit of London :).

Valencia Trip

Just got back from five days in Spain (Madrid and Valencia). Went to visit Grant in Valencia (college friend). Worked the entire time in Madrid (not too exciting), but had a great time in Valencia. Grant and his gf Sonia showed me all around town. Had a great time, made new Spanish friends, saw the Mediterranean, witnessed Spanish karioke (amongst other things), and beautiful sites to boot. More Touring

I have been in London about a week and have surprised myself by already hitting most of the tourist spots! I hope to check out the Tate Modern and the National Portrait Gallery in the next week or so!! Send comments, I know I must look silly taking my own pictures in front of places ;)

Successful Arrival in London

Hello everyone!! Sorry it has been awhile since I have updated he site. I have been crazy busy rolling off my last project in the Philippines and moving across the world to London. I have posted some pictures below of my first couple of days in London as well as my vacation in Sydney. The traveling isn't over though!! I will be going to Spain next week (Madrid for work and Valencia to visit Grant). Should be a good time. I hope this post finds you well!
