Traveling the World Over: May 2005

Back in Manila!!!

While it may seem that I just left Manila for Europe (wait, I did just leave), I am back in Manila for an undetermined amount of time for work. I am pleasantly surprised how much I missed being here. I am living in a new part of the city, so there are new things to do and see. I hope to do a little travelling and diving while I am here. Pictures to come soon!!

Brugge State of Mind

While it is a well known fact that the French have alot of holidays, it is not well known that many of the holidays are in a row (Sunday and Monday)and the whole country shuts down. This was not good because Reebs and I were in Paris for only three days. Day one Paris pictures are below the Paris post (scroll down :)). Since we had two more days we had to leave the country to have fun. This is how Reebs and I ended up in Brugge. Where is Brugge? It is the new center of the universe. I did not know how much I knew about this quaint Belgium town. Firstly, it is the home of Dr. Evil! Second, they have great beer, third, they have rivers for streets! This was by far the most random international trip I have ever embarked on. Of course we had a great time. I am going to try and stay in a Brugge state of mind for as long as possible :)

Paris!!!

Last week my good friend Rebecca came to visit me in London. We took a weekend trip to Paris! Paris is a beautiful city. I like it much better than London. The people were friendly, the food was good, and we saw some beautiful sights. Check out some of the pictures.
