Every Monkey needs a Cage....

My current undecorated office at Microsoft Redmond. Please note the caffiene (free), vitamins, stress ball, and headphones. Without any of these items I could not get through the day Posted by Picasa

What do you do with a new place??

You take a drill and hammer. Knock holes in the walls and then hang pictures to hide the holes!!!

Notice new table set and laptop (still working). Some old habit die hard!! Posted by Picasa

Shots of the New Place

Today I got high speed internet and satellite installed. So I thought I would share some pictures of the new place. As you can see I am still missing alot of furniture, but I am working on it. Pretty soon it will be ready for guests :).

New Home, New Career, New Life :)

I have now been working at Microsoft for almost a month and have only great things to report. The company and my team are more supportive of worklife balance and flexibility than I ever thought an employer could be. I work with incredibly talented people who care about what they do and are generous in sharing their knowledge with the new guy on the team. I have a nice office in the center of campus and even enjoying the food here (it really is good)! I have been working hard on coming up to speed and getting my new house setup. It is truly wonderful to have a place of your own and on top of that having the freedom to attend to your career as you see fit. I promise to post pictures of the house soon. You can view my house here. Click on the "bird's eye" view to see pictures. Use the compass to see the building from different angles. Click west a few maps and see the beach :)!!
